Mile 303 started out as a part art installation. Part bar. The space is anchored by a parametrically derived sculpture of the Erie Canal -- a unique seating and bar structure to sit, stand, and socialize around (now an 80' long Oaxacan-inspired mural :). It's also both the past and future of Medina (and villages like it) which exist solely and historically as part of the canal. Now in it's second form as Mile 303 Cantina, owned by Gali Rosario and her family, the space is serving legit Oaxacan tapas all night long (tacos, birria rolls, ceviche, empanadas, cocktails, beers, mezcals, tequilas, sotols, racillias, and love).
